Ada Belle Bristol, 86 lifelong area resident, died, Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the Peak Care Center in Longmont. Ada was born March 18, 1925 in Yuma, CO to Charles and Nettie Darbin. Ada married Lester Bristol in November of 1949 in Ft. Morgan. Ada enjoyed knitting, working crossword puzzles and oil painting. In fact, she had a painting of hers displayed at an Alzheimer's Event in Loveland. In her earlier years she worked as a clerk in the Jefferson County assessor's office. Survivors include one son, Gary Bristol of Frederick, one daughter, Janet Shaw of Lakewood, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, five brothers, Charles, John, Burton, Floyd and Harold Darvin and her parents. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 17th from 5 until 7 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
