Adolfo Hinojos, 70, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at his home near Snyder. He was born on May 9, 1945 in Mexico to Juan & Aurelia Hinojos. Adolfo came to Colorado in 1972. On January 23, 1975, he married Mary Garcia in Brush. Prior to ill health forcing his retirement, Adolfo worked at Cargill Meat Packing Plant. He enjoyed fishing, tending to farm animals, gardening, cooking, and watching boxing. He especially enjoyed his family. Survivors include his wife, Mary, 8 children, Martha Valles, Maria Luisa Estrada, Luz Marcela Hernandez, Martina Catalina Hinojos, Andrea Campa and Naomi Reynolds and John Sebastian Hinojos all of Brush, and Samuel Adolfo Hinojos of Snyder; His Mother, Aurelia Hinojos of Garden City, KS; 2 brothers, Reyes Hinojos of Garden City, KS, & Feliberto Hinojos of Richmond, WV; 3 sisters, Enriqueta Valverde, Clara Janes and Maria Perez all of Garden City, KS; 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Father and one brother, Sotero Hinojos. Visitation and service will be held at the Spanish Assembly of God in Fort Morgan on Friday from 4 - 6 PM. Interment will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
