Agnes R. Weikum, 78, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Sunset Manor Care Center in Brush. She was born March 22, 1934, in Snyder, CO, to William & Rosella Houston. Agnes married Alvin Weikum on December 31, 1953, in Hillrose. They lived in Morgan County for a short time and later moved to the Cedar Rapids, IA for a short time and then to the Denver area. While living in Denver, Agnes worked at St. Anthony Hospital for over 20 years. In 1999 the Weikum's moved back to Fort Morgan. Agnes enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Pam Zimmerman of Westminster, CO, Debbie Molinaro of Denver, and Robin Upton of Centennial, CO; 1 sister, Ellen Pernie of Fort Collins; 1 brother, Homer Houston of Westminster, CO; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister, Mildred Gross, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Rankin Presbyterian Church in Brush. The service will conclude at the church.
