Albert Henry George, 82, long time Morgan County resident, died Thursday morning at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. He was born May 2, 1927 in Sedalia, Colorado to Henry and Lydia George. Al served in the US Navy during WWII and attended the Coyne Electrical Technical School. Albert was a Master Electrical Contractor, and owned his own business "Al's" in Brush for over 35 years. Al 's favorite hobbies included hunting and fishing, and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Lu of Brush, his children, Phillip George and his wife Bonita of Santa Fe, NM, Rick George and his wife Julie of Calgary, Canada and Terry Shores and her husband Larry of Loveland, one sister Betty Lou (George) Atkinson, 6 grandchildren: Zachary George, Matt George, Emily George, Trevor Shores, Connor Shores, and Melissa Ostrander, and two great grandchildren Elle George and Chase George. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Rankin Presbyterian Church in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
