Albert L. Moser, 81, of Brush, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was born February 27, 1936, in Dodge City, KS to John & Mary Moser.

Al grew up on the family farm near Syracuse, KS. Following graduation from high school, Al joined the US Air Force. Following his honorable service and subsequent schooling at Fort Hays State College in Kansas to become a teacher and final certification from Colorado State University, Al married Carol McVeigh on April 1, 1967 in Denver, CO. The Moser's then settled in Brush where Al taught in the vocational department at Brush High School for 10 years. He then began work as a self-employed contractor, business owner and carpenter, a job that he was working at the time of his death.

Al was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed gardening, wood working and spending time with family & friends.

Survivors include his wife of 50+ years, Carol of Brush; 5 children (including 2 sets of twins), Greg of Charleston, SC, Curtis of Southern Pines, NC, Dana of Lutz, FL, Derek of Brush, and Tim (Kristie) of Belgium; 4 sisters, Ann (Frank) Conner of Las Cruces, NM, Florence Moser & Vera Michnal both of Thornton, CO, & Betty Stuckey of Wichita, KS; 3 brothers, Paul of Denver, Jim of Conifer, CO, and Carl of MO; and 6 grandchildren, Holly, Beckett, Kinley, Levi, Hope, and Holden. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers (Pete & John), 2 sisters (Mary & Kathy), and his parents (John & Mary).

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 27, at 5:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
