Obituary

Aleatha I. Neuschwanger, 79, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Friday evening, November 26, 2010, at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Brush following a short illness. She was born March 25, 1931, in Brush to Adam H. & Madalan Reich. Aleatha worked as a certified nurse assistant for many years. On September 24, 1970, Aleatha married Richard D. Neuschwanger in Brush. He died in 1989. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan, life member of the VFW Auxiliary, and the Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting, crocheting, and working with ceramics. Aleatha is survived by 4 children, Steven Enfante of Fort Morgan, David Enfante of Brighton, CO, Linda Nelen and Carol Cox both of Fort Collins, CO; 2 step-daughters, Angie & Connie; 1 sister, Tillie Shipp of West Monroe, LA; 1 sister-in-law, Betty Milburn of Brush; 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, Alvin Reich, 1 sister Ella Hyatt, 1 great grandson, Anthony Enfante, and her parents. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the United Presbyterian Church 1300 E Riverview in Fort Morgan. The service will conclude at the church. Visitation will be at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush on Wednesday from 2 – 4 PM. Private inurnment service will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Hospice of the Plains Inc c/o the Heer & Dahl Mortuary
