Alice Eileen Drew, 81 Life long Ft. Morgan resident died Saturday at the Briarwood Nursing Home in Denver.She was born March 25, 1925 in New Raymer to Earl and Sylvia (Fiscus) Bennett. She attended the Prairie Valley Elementary schools and graduated from the Ft. Morgan High School. She worked for the Mountain Bell Phone Company during World War II, and later as a cook at the Greenacres school. She married Lloyd Drew on July 27, 1947. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan. She enjoyed baking, gardening, growing roses and taking care of her cats. She is survived by her son Curtis Drew of Denver. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, one daughter Loy Ann Drew, and her parents.Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan, A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the mortuary.
