Alma Gelroth, 88, former Fort Morgan resident, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at the Broomfield Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Broomfield, CO. She was born March 16, 1920, in Denver, to George & Mary Dahmer. Alma was married to Herman Gelroth for 51 years. She was a loyal, devoted farmers wife. Alma enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family and her friends. While living in Fort Morgan, Alma was a member of the Christ Congregational Church. Alma will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Survivors include her brother, Edward Dahmer of Pleasant Hill, TN; 2 sisters, Katherine Treber and Mary Koehler both of Denver; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister, Pauline, 4 brothers, George Dahmer Jr., William Dahmer, Samuel Dahmer, and John Dahmer, and her parents. Funeral services will be Friday, December 12, 2008, at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
