Alma Jean Schocke, 83, of Fort Morgan, passed away peacefully Friday, March 19, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born May 30, 1937 in Fort Morgan to Riney and Mollie Temple.

Alma married the love of her life, Darrell Schocke on October 1, 1955. They had three children: Doug, Dale and Diane. She was blessed with five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Alma will be remembered for her caring and compassionate heart, true selflessness, wit and orneriness. She was a woman of incredible strength and strong will. She always put everyone else first and had a boundless love for her family. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and puzzle books, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Alma is survived by her husband of 65 years, Darrell Schocke; her sons, Doug and Dale Schocke, both of Fort Morgan; daughter, Diane Schacht (Schocke) of Loveland; five grandchildren, Jenn (Matt) Lunt of Loveland, Renee (Russ) Kleensang of Fort Morgan, Douglas Schocke of Fort Morgan, Brad Schacht of Loveland, and Macy Schocke of Fort Morgan; four great grandchildren, Parker and Paxton Kleensang and Paisley and Kinsley Lunt.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, Riney and Mollie Temple; all of her siblings: Harold Temple, Evelyn Loose, Harry Temple and Irene Temple; and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Schocke.

A service celebrating her life will be held at the United Methodist Church, 117 E. Bijou Ave. in Fort Morgan on Friday March 26 ^th at 10:30am. Cremation will follow and a private inurnment will be at Serenity Falls Columbarium at a later date.
