Andrew L. Ohri, 70, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. He was born August 15, 1941, in Spencer, NE, to Leo & Rose Ohri. Andy served in the US Air Force from January 10, 1964 until January 9, 1968. He married Donna Blair on February 21, 1970, in Omaha, NE. In 1979 the Ohri's moved to Colorado. Andy worked for the telephone company for 45 years. In 2006 they moved to the Jackson Lake community in Morgan County. Andy was a life member and past commander of the American Legion Post #1 in Omaha, NE. When he was younger he enjoyed big game hunting. Survivors include his wife, Donna of Weldona, CO; his Mother, Rose Ohri of Spencer, NE; 2 daughters, Diane Heim and her husband, Pete, of Omaha, NE; and Kim Sherbondy of Commerce City, CO; 7 brothers & sisters, Rosemary Ohri of Omaha, NE, Paul Ohri, and his wife Janet, of Kremmling, CO; Linda Wirth and her husband, Carl, of Omaha; Leonard Ohri, and his wife, Cindy, of Spencer, NE; Rex Ohri of Torrington, Wyoming; Melvin Ohri, and his wife, Camille of O'Neill, NE; and Nyla Cork, and her husband, Philip, of Bellevue, NE; and 2 granddaughters, Becky Waszgis, and her husband Joe, of Dallas, TX and Sara Sherbondy of Commerce City, CO. He was preceded in death by his father and 1 son. A service will be held in Spencer, NE at a later date. The Heer & Dahl Crematory is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
