Ann J. Hansen, 89, longtime resident of Fort Morgan, died Saturday, April 16 ^th at South Platte Health and Rehabilitation Center in Brush.

She was born October 18 ^th , 1932, in Mead, CO, to Frank and Isabel Jepperson. She attended Colorado A&M for several years, where she met her future husband, Henry Walter Hansen. They married in Longmont, August 31 ^st , 1951.

Ann worked at the Fort Morgan High School for many years. In 1982, the Hansens moved to Montrose for two years, then Colorado Springs for two years. They returned to Fort Morgan in 1986. She then worked for REA for five years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and watching the Rockies and Broncos.

She is survived by two daughters, Holly Hansen of New York City, Sherri Hansen and her son-in-law Anthony Swenson of Worland, Wyoming, and her beloved Maine Coon Cat Louie. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister Susan.
