ANNA MAE WEIMER, 80, of Fort Morgan, died early Tuesday morning, March 25, 2008 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born December 6, 1927 in Fort Morgan to William & Lola (Lamb) Preston. She married Henry Weimer on October 1, 1949 in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Weimer enjoyed gardening. She especially liked her plants and flowers. She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her seven children; Karla Kelly of Brush, Susan Schreiner, DeeAnn Tixier, Michael Weimer, Kenny Weimer, David Weimer, and Alan Weimer, all of Fort Morgan. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Dodge of Fort Morgan; her brother, Dave Preston of Casper, WY, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Weimer was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Doris Preston and Dee Ward; her brother, Tom Preston; her granddaughter, Tracy Weimer; and her husband, Henry Weimer. Memorial services will be Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan.
