Obituary

Annette Kay Holloway, of Greeley, Colorado, died unexpectedly at her home on February 22, 2015. She was born July 2, 1959 in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Annette was honored to serve as an officer with the Greeley Police Department for the past 19 years. In her free time, she was an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rockies. Other passions included her pets, scratch tickets, Facebook, and Fantasy Football. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Holloway of Fort Morgan; brothers, Ed Holloway of Timnath, David Holloway of Steamboat Springs, Richard Holloway of Timnath, and Paul Holloway of Greeley; sisters, Sherry Klein of Aurora, Patti Amaya of Fort Morgan, and Denise Jakel of Fort Morgan, as well as many much loved nieces and nephews, family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Holloway and brother, Butch Holloway. Viewing will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 225 E. Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan on Friday, February 27th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a brief service and graveside committal beginning at 12:15 PM. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan. A reception will be held following the service at Berean Bible Church, 211 W. Beaver Avenue in Fort Morgan. A memorial service/Celebration of Life is being planned for the Greeley area in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local Humane Society.
