Anthony Fernando "The Dog" Lara passed away suddenly April 6, 2022 in Brush. He was born September 1, 1964.

Anthony Lara was a beautiful spirit who was a son to Merry Lara and Juan Lara. He was a father to Johnny Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez, Jeff Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Jacob Sanchez, Mary Lara and Cassandra Lara. He was a brother to Gregory, Rosie, Elizabeth, Rick and Emilio Lara. He was the youngest of the Lara family. He spent 18 years with his first wife, Irene Sanchez who always had a special place in his heart.

From the time he was born he was a bit of a rebel. He was a very knowledgeable person and a jack-of-all-trades. Fernie became a legend in Morgan County.  In 2015 he met his wife Erica Cruzan, and in January 2021 he made Erica Cruzan, Erica Lara.

Anthony Fernando Lara, we hope you seek peace and happiness in heaven. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday April 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Chartier Pond.
