ANTHONY JOSEPH TRUJILLO, 63, of Brush, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born in Brush on August 16, 1947 to Daniel & Andrea (Montoya) Trujillo. He married Rosi Jimenez on April 29, 1969. Mr. Trujillo was a maintenance mechanic with Excel Energy in Brush for over 26 years before his retirement. He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, spending time with his family, going to Blackhawk, and playing poker. Survivors include his wife, Rosi Trujillo; his children, Shannon Reid, Brandy Reed, Sabin Trujillo, and Derek Trujillo; his brothers and sisters, Placido Romero, Steve Romero, Rose Salinas, Helen Romero, Ray Trujillo, Marylou Trujillo-Flores, and Daniel Trujillo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 1st at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Military honors will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #3551. The service will conclude at the church. Private inurnment will be in the Columbine Columbarium at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
