Obituary

Anton Kalous Jr. of Woodrow went to Heaven on May 31, 2026 from South Platte Health and Rehabilitation in Brush.

He was born on September 23, 1940 in Milo, Missouri.

Anton farmed in the Woodrow area for several years and attended Woodrow School. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years and was honorably discharged.

Anton enjoyed gardening, attending auctions, hunting, going to the mountains, riding his bike, and listening to country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton Kalous Sr. and Mary Kral Kalous; his brother, Art Kalous and Art's wife, Priscilla Kalous; his great niece, Suni Grooms; his great-great niece, Atlas Grooms; great nephew, Trae White; great nephew, Randy Greene; and his beloved dog, Weenie.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Greene and her husband, Marvin; his sister, Helen Babcock; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Anton will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be Friday, June 5th at 2:00 PM in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
