Obituary

Antonio Lopez Aldama Sr. , 86, of Ft. Morgan, died Sunday evening at his home in Ft. Morgan. He was born April 7, 1925 in Elucero, Mexico to Triovelo and Francisca Aldama. He married Juagina Segura September 21, 1952 in Wiggins. Juagina died December 30, 1996. Antonio worked for the Morgan County Road and Bridge Department for 23 years, welding and running equipment. He retired in 1987. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbequing, watching the sun set and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his children Juan (Johnny) Aldama of Lubbock, TX, Olivia (Lollie) Rodriguez of Ft. Morgan, Joyce Aldama of Blue Earth, MN, Francis Aldama and Antonio (Tony) Aldama Jr. both of Ft. Morgan, Lupe Cano of Battlement, Max Aldama of Corpus Christi, TX, Juanita (Janie) Aguilar of Ft. Morgan, Glen Rigil of Springville, AL, Mary Lou Lopez and Rosie Anaya both of Tama IA, and Elizabeth Aldama of Nebraska, 45 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, two brothers Santos and Juan Aldama, and one sister Lupe Sarro all of Elucero, Mexico. and one sister Lorato Martinez of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He was preceded in death by one brother Jose Aldama, one sister Licha Castillo, his wife Juagina, and his parents. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Morgan.
