Archie D. Steyaert, 61, of Brush passed away Friday, December 31, 2021.  He was born December 24, 1960 in Hominy, OK.  He was adopted by Robert & Mary Jane Steyaert.

Archie graduated from Brush High School in 1980.  Following graduation from high school, Archie worked in the oil fields in northeastern Wyoming.  In 1992 he began working for the Burlington Northern Railroad until a medical issue forced his retirement in 2010.

Archie enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing, camping, flying his hang glider, hanging out with his friends.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces & nephews.

Survivors include his brothers Bob Steyaert of Wichita, KS; Steven Newman of Quinton Oklahoma; and Daryl Todd Seagraves of Kinta Oklahoma; his sisters Debra (Carpio) Nira of Evans, CO; and Lisa Howk, Spiro Oklahoma; his nieces, Anita (Shane) Ziegler of Greeley CO; Hope (David) Dodson of Wellington, CO; and his nephew, Mike Martinez of Gypsum CO; 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe Newman.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel.  The service will conclude at the Mortuary.  A private inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
