Ardelle Jean Bruce, age 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on December 16, 2025, in Pine, Colorado.

Ardelle was born on August 10, 1934, in Longmont, Colorado, and later moved to the Brush area. After graduating from high school, she worked for the telephone company in Estes Park, Colorado, and later at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. Her favorite job was being a farm wife.

Ardelle married Keith Bruce, and together they made their home on a farm and ranch in the Snyder, Colorado area of Morgan County, where they raised wheat, hay, cattle, and their three children. Keith and Ardelle were very active in the Snyder community and were devoted members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Ardelle enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, baking, and playing bells in the church bell choir. She loved traveling, taking walks with her dog, Boo, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family. For those who truly knew Ardelle, giving was the word that best described her. No matter the circumstance, she was always the first to help someone in need.

Ardelle is survived by her three children, Janine Bornhoft, Kristen Bruce-Webb, and Justin Bruce; her grandchildren, Kendra, Kayla, Lanna, Jad, Kalea, Kaiya, Spencer, and Taylor; and her great-grandchildren, Brayden, Avery, Hartly, Willow, Sage, and Waylen.

A friends and family viewing will be held at Heer Mortuary in Brush, Colorado, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush, Colorado, with burial services following at the Brush Cemetery. We will then regroup at Bethlehem Lutheran church for food and fellowship.

Memorial donations may be made in Ardelle's name to an animal rescue organization via texting ASIAB to 801801.

A Celebration of Life for Ardelle will be held in Brush in the summer of 2026. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
