Obituary

Art. W. Kittelman of Brush, Colorado, died June 4, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Art was born May 14, 1925 in Manville, WY to Paul and Eva Kittelman. He attended school in Manville. Art was confirmed and baptized at Lutheran Church in 1939 at Keeline, WY. Art was in the US Air Force during World War II, flying on a B17 and B29. He started work for Continental Oil Company in 1947 in Lance Creek Wyoming and was transferred to Brush, Colorado in 1955. He retired in 1985 after working 37 ½ years with Conoco.

Art married Verna Milbradt of Topeka, Kansas in 1946. They had two children, Vernie and Sharilyn. Art and Verna owned and operated Brush Cash Auction from 1959 to 1985, during which time Art enjoyed auctioneering.

He is survived by his wife Verna; daughter Sharilyn Blake and husband Larry; three grandchildren, Troy Blake and wife Wanda, Charity Baker and husband Michael, Krista Neiman and husband Herman; Nine great grandchildren, Megan and Madisen Baker, Brooke and Wyatt Blake, Casi, Desiree, Wayne, Kody and Colten Neiman; one sister Clara Leeling; and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Vernie, one brother, and two sisters.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at his request.
