ASHLEY NICOLE EVELYN, 24, lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, July 29, 2008 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland after her nearly six year battle with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Type 4. She was born August 23, 1983 in Fort Morgan to Douglas & Terri (Weber) Evelyn. She attended Fort Morgan schools and graduated from Fort Morgan High School with the class of 2001. Ashley had worked at Morgan Federal Bank, First American Cash Advance, and Wal-Mart in Fort Morgan. At the time of her death she was a Legal Technician for the Department of Human Services in Fort Morgan. Ashley was a member of Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and going to the lake. She especially enjoyed devoting her time to her daughter Trinity. She is survived by her husband Jason Weiss and daughter Trinity Weiss of Brush; her mother and step-father, Terri & Kevin Lanckriet of Fort Morgan; her father and step-mother, Doug & Dorothy Evelyn of Casper, WY; her brother, Zach Evelyn of Brush; and her sister, Lacee Evelyn of Fort Collins. She is also survived by her step-sister, Tara Schmitt of Fort Collins; her maternal grandfather, Ed Weber of Fort Morgan; her paternal grandparents, Ron & Lorna Evelyn of Kimball, NE; her step-grandparents, Henry & Irene Lanckriet of Julesburg; and her paternal great grandmother, Ruth Bierly of Kimball, NE. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Joanne Weber; her uncle, Robin Weber; and her step-sister, Jennifer Gayle. Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2008 from 4 – 8 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Christ Congregational Church, 730 Ensign St., Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan.
