Augie E. Martinez, 68, passed away May 17, 2019 at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO. He was born August 6, 1950 in Fort Morgan to Nickolas Martinez & Molly Padilla.

Augie was a resident of Morgan County his entire life. He graduated from Wiggins High School. Augie was a member of the Friendship Club several years at the Hillcrest Apartments. He  enjoyed ceramics, BINGO, and listening to oldies music. Augie loved family time most of all, he could not get enough time with his family.

Survivors include his two sisters, Harriet (Quirino) Zavala & Lydia Lawrence Sr.) Carroll; seven nieces, Julia Lambert, Melvina Ramirez, Sandra Cardenas, Sulema Herrera, Leanna Carroll, Lety Morales, and Victoria Benitez; three nephews, John Carroll, Harold Carroll, and Victor Zavala, and many great & great-great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Hope Martinez, and one nephew, Lawrence Carroll Jr.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 28 ^th at 10:00 AM, at Saint Helena's Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
