Austin Tyler Mahagan, 8, was suddenly taken back to the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was born August 18, 2007, in Denver, to Brent & Cambria Mahagan.

Although Austin was only 8 years old, he lived more in those years than most do their whole life. Austin was a dedicated wrestler and cub scout, a fierce friend, gentle soul and companion to anyone that needed him. One of his favorite places was school. He had a thirst for knowledge and truly enjoyed being surrounded by his friends and teacher.

There was not a single person that met Austin that did not instantly like him. He had the gift of gab, impeccable manners, and genuinely cared about others feelings and what anyone wanted to talk about. Although he was taken from this earth way to soon, his family takes comfort knowing that many people loved him, and will keep him in their hearts.

Survivors include his parents, Brent & Cambria Mahagan and his sister, Addison all of Brush; grandparents, Larry & Roberta Raub of Aurora, CO and Art & Donna Mahagan of Broomfield, CO; and his great grandparents, Irene Raub of Cedar Falls, IA and Robert Waynell Wiebener of Alva, OK.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the Brush High School gym at 11:00 AM Visitation will be at BHS from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday.   The service will conclude at the school. The Heer Mortuaries & Crematory are entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Mahagan Family Relief Fund c/o Morgan Federal Bank in Fort Morgan.

A potluck reception will follow the service in the Brush High School Cafeteria.  Please
bring a food dish to share with all in attendance.
