Avis Allene Isaac Schreiner was born February 3, 1933 to Chris and Ora Christensen in Brush, Colorado.  She married Vergil Isaac on January 17, 1953 and had a son, George.  Years later, she married Edward W. Schreiner.

Avis was survived by two step-sons and families, Michael (Bonnie) and Steven (Karen), and stepdaughter-in-law, Kathy Schreiner and family.  In addition, she was survived by the following grandchildren, Kelly Kochevar and family, Angie Sommerfeld and family, Scott Schreiner and family, Benjamin Schreiner and family, Cory Schreiner and family, Kris Turner and family, Jennifer Von Feldt and family, and Todd Schreiner and family, and 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vergil Isaac, husband Edward Schreiner, son George Isaac, step-son Bruce Schreiner, and four brothers and three sisters.

She attended Brush schools and graduated from Brush High school in 1951.  She started work at Farmers State Bank in 1965. She held various positions and retired as a Cashier and Trust Officer.

Avis was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  She was also a member of East Morgan County Hospital Auxiliary.  She enjoyed daily walks with her dog.

She enjoyed the simple things in life – God, family and friends and her work at the bank.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brush at 10:00am, followed by inurnment at Brush Memorial Cemetery.
