Barbara Edna Greenfield, 82, longtime area resident, passed away, Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Fort Morgan.

She was born November 15, 1934 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Richard and Edna (Knefelkamp) Berlin.

Barbara married Roland Ross Greenfield in June of 1953.

She moved to this area in 2000 from Washington State.

In her earlier years, Barbara worked as a Repair Dispatcher for a telephone company in Oregon.

She enjoyed reading, and taking care of children.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris Carlson of Fort Morgan, and Janet Berlin who lives in Washington, and Gerrilynn Goss, who is like an adopted child to her, who also lives in Washington.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Roland who died in 1985 and her parents.

Barbara will be inurned with husband Roland in the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at a later date.
