Barbara Jane Herrington, AKA Grandma Barbie was born March 28 ^th , 1944 in McCook, Nebraska to Walter and Pearl Riley.  On the evening of January 13 ^th , 2022 Barbara passed away in Bird City, Kansas.

Barbara is survived by her siblings, Carolyn and Joyce and her children Beverly, Charles, Cynthia, and Christine.  She had 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Nathaniel, Stanley, Ancil, Gertrude, and Jennis; and daughter Carol.

A visitation for Barbara will take place at Heer Mortuary at 222 Cameron Street, Brush, Colorado 80723 on Sunday January 23 ^rd , 2022 from 2 to 4 pm.  Memorial services will be held the following day at 11 am at Heer Mortuary.  She will be laid to rest at Brush Cemetery located at 1110 Mill Street, Brush, Colorado 80723 immediately following the services.
