BARBARA JEAN DAVIS, 50, of Fort Morgan, died Saturday evening, August 11, 2007 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. She was born in Fort Morgan on August 9, 1957 to Raymond Merle & Barbara L. (Spencer) Davis. She attended schools in Brush and graduated from Brush High School in 1976. Miss. Davis worked in the cafeteria at local schools and nursing homes for the majority of her working years. Miss. Davis attended Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. She was a very patriotic person who loved her country and the lord. She enjoyed embroidery painting and other crafts. She also enjoyed music and singing, cooking, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She had a special love for dogs and cats. Miss. Davis is survived by her mother, Barbara L. Davis of Fort Morgan; two sisters, Donna Bass and Susan Goss, both of Snyder; three brothers, Rick Davis of Brush, Dave Davis of Wiggins, and Ron Davis of Colorado Springs. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Merle Davis. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 15th from 5 – 7 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Brush. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Friends may make memorial donations to Gideons International. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory in Brush is in charge of arrangements.
