Barbara J. Kack, 78, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born July 2, 1938, in Denver to William & Olive Irene Holliday.

Barbara has lived in Brush since2014. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets and the Denver Broncos. Additionally, she enjoyed gardening and working her flower garden. Her favorite time was spent with her family.

Surviving family includes her children, Connie Jean Newburn of Montana; Pamela Sue Dutton of Rifle, CO; Georgia Ann Duffy of Lovington, TX; Debby Kay Hutcheson & Penny Lee Arnett both of Brush, CO; Julene Rae Langsford of Montana; Sherlyn Jo Meadors of CO; Christina Lea Heavilin of Rifle, CO and Michael Eugene Gordon of Longmont; 2 sisters, Shirley & Bonnie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Robert, Buddy, Don, Dickie, and Billy; 1 sister, Virginia; and her parents.

Funeral services will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer Chapel on Tuesday from 12:30 – 2:00 PM.
