Barbara Jean Marshall, 54, of Fort Morgan, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her home in Fort Morgan after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born May 29, 1963 in Golden to David & Bonnie Marshall. After graduating from high school, Barb attended college at NJC. She worked as a Correctional Officer for the majority of her working years.

Barb married Kirk Baumgartner on May 17, 2014 in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan.

She is survived by her husband, Kirk Baumgartner; her son, Seth Marshall, and her mother, Bonnie Marshall, all of Fort Morgan; her daughter, Paige Lippoldt and husband, Clint of Greeley; her sister, Becky Hanson and husband, Scott of LaSalle; brother, Donny Marshall and wife, Nancy of Wiggins, and five grandchildren.

Barb was preceded in death by her father, David Marshall; and her son, Coty Griffith.

A service to celebrate Barb's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 29th at the First Christian Church, 225 W. Bijou Ave. in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church. At Barb's request, cremation has taken place and her urn will be buried on her son Coty's grave in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan at a later date.
