Beatrice Garcia, Carrillo, 88, long time Hillrose resident, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2024, at Common Spirit Hospital in Fort Morgan. She was born May 10, 1936 in Greeley, to Macario and Carmen Garcia. The Garcia family moved to Hillrose, CO in 1943. Beatrice married Don Carrillo in March of 1981.

Beatrice was a homemaker who enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and the Colorado Rockies. She enjoyed camping, and going on fishing trips with Don and friends. When the days were nice, she was outside taking care of her yard. She enjoyed spending time with her fur babies, visiting and cooking with her family and friends, crocheting, listening to music, watching her Novellas, and Chuck Norris Walker Texas Ranger.

Survivors include her sons, Adrian Flores, and Gabriel Flores of Hillrose, CO; two grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie) Flores of Greeley, CO; Desiree Flores of Denver; four great grandchildren, Keyanna, Anessa, Elijah and Brandon Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Don Carrillo; four brothers; five sisters; and her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heer Mortuary in Brush, Colorado, Thursday August 8 at 1:00 pm, followed by inurnment at Brush Memorial Cemetery.
