Bernadine J. Davis 96, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born December 15, 1916, in Great Bend, KS. On September 4, 1935, Bernadine married Lloyd M. Davis. Together, the farmed near Great Bend until failing health forced them to retire. They moved to Akron, CO to live with their son and his family until entering the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Lloyd passed away April 29, 2006. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Neighbors of Great Bend, KS, and her son, Wayne, and his wife, Carolyn of Akron, CO; 11 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Great Bend, Kansas at a later date. The Heer Mortuary was entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
