Bernard I. Stadler, 74, passed away on October 4, 2017 at home in Brush, CO.   He was born January 23, 1943 in Erie, CO to Adam and Katherine Stadler.

He joined the Army in 1964. Bernard was an outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, archery, and hunting. He was an avid gardener. He was a blacksmith on the side and enjoyed making knives. Bernard loved family time.

Bernard is survived by his wife, Mildred, three children, Justin Stadler, Nancy Geisendorfer, and Jeremy Stadler, two Grandchildren, Garrett and Graham Geisendorfer, three siblings, Tom and Robert Stadler, and Carolyn Lechmen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings, Richard Stadler and Helen Younger.

Graveside is Friday October 13, 2017 at 1:00 pm, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, CO, with military honors. In lieu of cut flowers, consider planting a tree in honor of Bernard.
