Bernice Martha Allen, 85, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Sterling Living Center.  She was born June 1, 1931 in Hoyt, to Howard and Mary (Nestor) Salmon.

Bernice married Keith Allen on March 24, 1951 in Wiggins.  Bernice worked as a baker for many years at Johnson's Super.  She loved being with her family and especially with her several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth (Lynn) Salmon of Merino and Virgil (Shirley) Salmon of Enid, OK; one sister, Evelyn Brandt of Soldotna, AK and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; three brothers, Howard, Darrel and Teddy Salmon; two sisters, Ethyl Edmondson and Mabel Salmon; and her parents.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to Hospice of the Plains in C/O Bernice.
