Bertha P. (Crum) Vinson, 79, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012, at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born June 23, 1932, in Fort Morgan, to Steven & Elizabeth Hallda. Bertha married Chester Crum on August 6, 1955. Chester died in 1970. On July 2, 1971, Bertha married John Vinson in Cheyenne, WY. Bertha moved back to Morgan County in 2002. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed watching mystery shows at TV. Survivors include her children, LaRoyce Eskew of Brush, Brenda Kissler of Fort Morgan, Raymond Crum of Strasburg, and Lesley Crum of Greeley; 1 sister, Mary Warboys of Fort Morgan; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, 1 son, Bill Crum; 2 daughters, Libby and Zella Mae, 5 brothers and sisters, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 12, at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ, 810 Edmunds Street in Brush. Concluding service and inurnment will be at 2:00 PM at the Evan Cemetery in Greeley.
