BETTY PAULINE ANDREWS, 83, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born July 18, 1930 in Ranger, TX to James & Patsy (Garner) Halcomb. She married Franklin Earl Andrews on October 23, 1954 in Fort Morgan. Betty first belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and later attended the First Christian Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family, playing dominos, and being active in activities at Valley View. Survivors include her children; Alan Andrews of Fort Morgan, Patty Homewood and her husband, Michael, and Linda Jones of Castle Rock, and Sharon Chenoweth and her husband, Rick of Woodrow; her sister, Christine Mobley of Odessa, TX, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and her brother, Loren Halcomb. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in the Akron Cemetery in Akron, CO. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
