Betty Jean Bowen, 81, of Fort Morgan passed away peacefully Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan. She was born in Russellville, AR to Lee F. and Elsa Stella Reed.

Betty was a member of the Auxiliary for the American Legion Post 19 and VFW Post 2551.  She enjoyed puzzle books, rooting for the Broncos, and loved playing BINGO.  Betty loved spending time with the family, especially all of the grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Gary) Segelke of Fort Morgan, and Deborah Loomis (Grady Patrick) of Fort Morgan; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and her brother, Bill Reed of Joes, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Bowen; two daughters Donna Infinger and Mary Gonzalez, ten siblings, and her parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Life Fellowship in Fort Morgan.  Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery at 1:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association Colorado, Diamond Hill Office Complex, 2460 W 26th Ave #500C, Denver, CO 80211.
