Betty Jean Harless passed away October 21, 2022 at her home.

She is survived by her sister, Kay Knaub of Wray, CO; by her first husband, Charles McFarland of Fort Morgan; her five children, Randal McFarland and Carol, Mike McFarland, Douglas McFarland and Diana all of Fort Morgan, Beverly Losino and Manuel of Log Lane Village and Deborah Dunivan and Michael of Linwood, KS. She also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren spread throughout the US.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Wilda (Welton) Harless; a brother-in-law, Edward Knaub; her significant other, Thomas "Tommy" Douglas; two grandsons, Sean McFarland and Ryan Thompson; one granddaughter, Phoebe McFarland and one great-granddaughter, Halie Wiley.

Betty loved her family and animals. She also loved to cook, sew, and paint. She loved singing and reminiscing about her life with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an avid rock collector and liked finding bargains at thrift stores, especially shopping for her southwestern dust collectors. She will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion, 121 Nelson Road in Fort Morgan on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12 Noon.
