Betty Kugler, 66, passed away Monday night, March 15, 2010, after a short illness. She was a patient at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. She was born January 17, 1944, to Virgil & Mary Kay Green. The Green family moved to the Buckingham, Colorado community in 1956. On February 14, 1973, Betty married Dennis Kugler in Fort Morgan. The Kugler's have resided in New Raymer since their wedding. Prior to health issues forcing her retirement, Betty was a hairdresser. Betty enjoyed raising Boston Terriers and Pugs. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of New Raymer, 3 children, Debbie Lyon of Richmond, UT, Patti Degenhart of Fort Morgan, and Dan Hilliard of Greeley, CO; 3 brothers, Kenneth Green of Greenville, GA; Richard Green of Athens, GA, and Bobby Joe Green of Texas; 4 sisters, Carolyn Harvey of New Raymer, Donna Rivers of TX; Vivian Christian of Milliken, CO, and Marilyn Murphy of Longview, TX; 9 grandchildren, Zachary Bauer, Aaron Bauer, Klayton Degenhart, Alex Degenhart, and Jack Degenhart, Callista Hilliard, Jordan Lyon, Kelsee Lyon, Kylee Lyon. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in the New Raymer Cemetery.
