Betty Eugenia (Brunkhardt) Repp, 88, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 7, 2021 following a valiantly fought battle with breast cancer. She was most recently a resident of Valley View Villa, Fort Morgan, Colorado.

She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, LeRoy Lester Repp; by her parents, Fred and Mary Brunkhardt, and her great granddaughter, Torrance Nichols.

She leaves behind a legacy in her children and their families: son Mark and wife, Dawnn Repp of Carmine, Texas; daughters, Corrine and husband, Jim Pratt of Murphys, California; Janet and husband Bob Gronsten of Weldona, Colorado; and Beth and husband William Lear of Grovetown, Georgia as well as eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Betty was born to Fred and Mary Brunkhardt in Hillrose Colorado on February 16, 1933. She was the eldest of five girls and graduated Hillrose High school in 1950. During her lifetime, Betty worked as a telephone operator in Denver, and for many years a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Eben Ezer in Brush, and Valley View Villa and Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.  She also worked alongside LeRoy at the Wiggins Lumberyard as bookkeeper.

Betty was the ultimate caregiver with her kind and compassionate heart.  She will be forever remembered for her positive outlook on life, true selflessness, sense of humor and incredible strength and resilience of character and body that touched the lives of all around her.

Betty enjoyed sharing the things that she loved most with her family: celebrations, traveling, gardening, sports, music, and books.  Her most valuable possessions, however, were always her boundless love for her family and her eternal faith in God.

A service celebrating her life will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Fort Morgan on Friday, March 12 ^th at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
