Betty "Allois" (Naill) Soucie, 78, of Wiggins, passed from this life at her home on November 16, 2023 from complications of cancer. Her husband and her stepdaughter were at her side.

Allois was born on September 11, 1945, north of Wiggins, to G.K. "Skinny" and Opal (Boutcher) Naill. She was raised on the family farm and attended and graduated from Wiggins High School, then Northeastern Junior College in Sterling.

While working at Wicks Lumber in Greeley, she met the love of her life (and best friend) Wayne Soucie. They were married on May 15, 1980. Allois never had any children of her own, but accepted Wayne's daughter, Michell, as her own.

Allois loved country life; all her animals, the gardens, and flowers. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, among many other things.

She is survived is survived by her husband, Wayne (together 50 years); her daughter, Michell; brother, G.K. "Kenneth" Naill II and wife, Alberta, and seven nieces and nephews.

Allois was preceded in death by her parents, G.K. "Skinny" and Opal Naill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Inurnment in Serenity Falls Columbarium will be at a later date.
