BETTY MARIE TRIM, 79, longtime Woodrow resident, died Saturday morning, September 29, 2007 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born August 1, 1928 in Brush to Alvin & Molly (Scott) Peterson. She married Roy Dale Trim on June 17, 1951 in Akron, CO. Mr. & Mrs. Trim farmed and ranched for a number of years before retirement. Mrs. Trim enjoyed her vegetable and flower garden, taking care of her home and helping with cattle on the farm. She is survived by her daughter Terry Trim; and two sons Kent Trim, and Tim Trim, all of Woodrow; her sister, Nadine Holder of Denver; her brother, Varlen "Spook" Peterson of Lindon, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Trim was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Earl Peterson, and her husband. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 3 – 7 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Brush. Funeral services will Thursday, October 4th at 10:00 AM at the Woodrow Baptist Fellowship Church in Woodrow. Interment will follow in the Glen Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
