Beverley L. Andersen, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.  She was born October 10, 1928, in Colorado Springs, CO to Albert & Juanita Spaid.

Bev graduated from Limon High School in 1946.  She married Dave Andersen on March 1, 1946, in Goodland, KS.  In 1969 the Andersen family moved to Brush where they owned and operated Andersen Chevrolet.  Bev worked with Dave serving as the bookkeeper, both for Andersen Chevrolet and later Dave's Conoco gas station.

While living in Limon, Bev & Dave served as class sponsors for several Limon High School classes.  She enjoyed dancing, bowling, and golfing.  She was a member of the Federation of Women's Club in Limon.  Bev was very active in the St. Charles Episcopal Church and was a member of the Daughters of the King.  Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Susan (Steve) Dyer, David Dale (Diane) Andersen, and Dwight (Esther) Andersen; 1 brother Albert Spaid; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; 1 sister Margie Steele; and her parents.

Memorial Service for Bev will be Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the St Charles Episcopal Church in Fort Morgan.  Concluding service and inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.  Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the St Charles Episcopal Church.

Those attending the service are asked to wear whatever personal protective equipment they are most comfortable with.
