Beverly "Betsy" Bruntz, 80, lifetime Morgan county resident passed away November 22, 2016 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. She was born May 9, 1936 in Berthoud, CO to Daniel and Margaret (Schwindt) Glantz.
Betsy married Duane Bruntz on January 9, 1955 in Greeley, CO. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She spent time volunteering at Colorado Plains Medical Center. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and shopping. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and socializing with her bridge group. Betsy was an avid sports fan and liked watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies games.
She is survived by her four sons; Steven (Sherri) of Wiggins, Gary of Ft. Morgan, Brett (Wendy) of Ft. Collins and Michael of Denver; six sisters; Mildred Rutt, Evelyn Green, Margaret Lee, Judy Sirios, Joyce Lukenback Hendrix, and Sherry Rasmussen; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Glantz and Verna Glantz; seven grandchildren; Juli Bruntz, Cody(Lindsey) Bruntz, Dustin Bruntz, Clayton Bruntz, Jessica Bruntz, Justin Bruntz and Jacob Bruntz.
Betsy was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, Donnie, Holly, Roland, Marvin and Edward Glantz; three sisters, Laverne Standiferd, Florence Glantz and Orlene Glantz; and her parents.
The public viewing will be at Heer Mortuary Monday, November 28th, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan, Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
