Beverly Jean Bollinger entered into the place of eternal peace with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2021, joining her parents Delbert Bollinger and Betty Jane Wilcoxen, her brothers Sam, Ron and Bill Bollinger. B
everly was born on February 23, 1943 in Fulton, Illinois and was raised in the Canton area.
She met and married Ron Hammack. They had three sons- Marty Nutter, Chris Hammack and Jeremy Hammack. The Hammack family moved around the United States for much of their marriage.
Beverly was a jill of all trades, and besides being a homemaker, she also worked as a cook, waitress and maid. After several years of traveling, she settled in Arvada, Colorado where she was reunited with her sons, Chris and Jeremy Hammack.
She loved to cook for her kids and grandkids and everyone loved her fried chicken and homemade noodles. In her later years she endured several health issues, and she lived with her son and daughter-in-law and their family while recovering from surgery.
Determined to regain her independence she found a new home that she loved and adored at Tabor apartments on the Eben Ezer campus. She spent six years there developing lasting and loving relationships with the ladies in her community and the continual deepening of her faith in the Lord. She passed away after complications from surgery in the presence of her son, daughter in law and Pastor Young.
Her strong will and her adversity to overcome difficult times and the love of the Lord are the messages she leaves to her grandchildren: Denelle, Connie, Kristin, Ty, Ravan, Jake, Zack, Shelby, Jenny, Amanda and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
In hopes and prayers that all will be united with her and our Lord and savior Jesus Christ one day! A memorial service will be held at Platte Valley Baptist Church east of Fort Morgan on US Highway 34 on Saturday Nov. 13th at 11:00 AM. The service will conclude at the Church.
