Billie Junior Eskew, known by all as Bill, of Fort Morgan, Colorado passed away Thursday January 4, 2024 at UCHealth in Aurora, CO at 75 years of age.  Bill was born February 27, 1948 in Akron, CO to James William Edward Eskew and Helen (Frenzl) Eskew.  He graduated from high school in Otis, CO in 1966 and was married to Karen (Gardner) Eskew on January 10, 1976 in Brush, CO.

Bill worked in concrete and as a truck driver throughout his life beginning with Bill Baker Cement, Eskew Brothers Concrete Construction, Dorn Ready Mix, Morgan County Road and Bridge, and as a courier for Select Energy Services.

Bill liked hunting pheasants and rabbits, bowling in league, riding his motorcycle, socializing with family and friends, watching truck and tractor pulls, helping on his uncles' farm with chores, branding, and harvesting every year, and helping his sons with their countless vehicle problems.

Bill is survived by his wife Karen Eskew of Fort Morgan, CO, sons Landon Eskew of Williston, ND and Devin Eskew of Colorado Springs, CO, mother Helen Eskew of Brush, CO, and siblings Patty Doyle, Ed (LaRoyce) Eskew, Judy (Dave) Musgrave, John (Mae) Eskew, Betty (Steve) Eby, Sally Eskew, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his father James William Edward Eskew, paternal grandparents James and Jessie Eskew, maternal grandparents Frank and Laura Frenzl, and brother-in-law Frank Doyle.

Visitation (1:30pm) and funeral services (2:30pm) will be Friday January 12, 2024 at Heer Mortuary located at 222 Cameron Street in Brush, Colorado 80723.  Interment to follow at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
