Billy Joe Marick, 76 passed away on August 17, 2023 with his daughter Kerri by his side.

Whiskey as he preferred to be called was born July 3 1947 in Snyder CO to James and Clara Marick.

He married Barbara Luark in 1965 and had two sons, Joe and Jim.  After his divorce, he married Sherry Smith on June 28th 1974 and had two daughters, Latisha and Kerri.

In the early 70's Whiskey began driving a semi for Jerry Weber of Weber trucking.  He truly loved life over the road in his Peterbilt.

He even spent time racing his truck at Bandimere Speedway.  If he wasn't on the road, he was spending time with family and friends that quickly became family.  Riding motorcycles, lake camping at Bonnie Dam and Enders Reservoir, and tinkering around on his truck in the shop were some of his favorite things to do.

He was a hard man, if he loved you, you knew it, and he played this game we call life hard.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers- James and Randel; 2 sisters- Nellie and Karen; his son Jim; and his former spouses- Barb and Sherry. He leaves behind his sisters Orpha Gimbel (Lester); Lynda Vigil (Nick); and Betty Marick; his son Joe Marick (Donna) of Sterling, CO; daughter Latisha Odell (Tom) of Pearland, TX; daughter Kerri Armstrong (Justin) of Loveland, CO; granddaughters- Leigha, Mandy, Julie, and Tanya; grandsons- Matt, Dylan, Kole, Thomas, and Toby as well as his great grandchildren.  He also leaves behind so many special friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Heer Mortuary in Brush, CO.
