Bonnie Lou Shoemaker, 88, Brush resident, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. She was born April 12, 1931, in Hudson, CO to Grace and Roy Lamar.

At 16 years of age Bonnie married Claude Shoemaker in Ft. Morgan on April 22, 1947. Most of Bonnie's life she worked the fulltime job of a homemaker.Bonnie was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, cooking, and boat rides.

Survivors include her children, Rick (Brenda) and Claudia (Ben) Spotts; 1 sister, Alma Parrish; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude; 2 siblings, Alan and Jane; 1 grandson, Richard; and her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, August 19, 2019, from 2-5 PM at Heer Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Heer Chapel. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
