Bonnie Lee Smith, 78, of Fort Morgan passed away peacefully Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, CO.  She was born October 7, 1938 in Fort Morgan, CO to Michael and Alice Zambo.

She Graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1956.  Bonnie married the love of her life Ray Smith on February 19, 1958.  She was an avid Bible reader who read it daily. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, adult coloring books, book reading, and cooking.  She loved working with flowers when she was able.  She loved spending time with her family and family came first.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; two children, Cara (Michael) Fankhauser of Casper, WY; Douglas (Jennifer) Smith of Austin, TX; three grandchildren, Robert and Jonathan Fankhauser, and Carter Smith; and one great granddaughter Audree Fankhauser; and four siblings Dick Lebsock, Elaine Scott, Colleen Lubischer, and Shirley Bailey.

Her parents and nine siblings preceded her in death.
