Brenda Jo Guggenmos (Zwetzig), loving sister, aunt, great aunt, niece, and friend, of Fort Morgan, CO passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 62, on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at Common Spirit St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Morgan, CO.

Brenda was born on April 4th, 1963, in Fort Morgan to Arthur L. and Gloria D. Zwetzig (Von Riesen). Brenda attended schools in Fort Morgan, graduating in 1981. Brenda lived and worked in Fort Morgan her entire life, the last 27 years working for the City of Fort Morgan.  Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, and spoiling her nieces, nephews, and great niece, especially during the holidays. Brenda enjoyed interior decorating, and her home was always meticulously decorated for each season during the year. Brenda faithfully attended the Church of Christ up until her health declined.

Brenda is survived by four brothers, Mark Zwetzig of Fort Morgan, Eric Zwetzig of Ft. Collins, Todd Zwetzig of Greeley, Tracy Zwetzig of Milliken, nephew Matthew Zwetzig of Ft. Collins, niece Sarah Zwetzig (James) San Antonio, nephew Kristopher Zwetzig (Danielle) and great niece Olivia Zwetzig of Timnath, niece Leslie Wulf (Colton) of Fort Morgan, Nephew Justin Paxton (Haley) of Wiggins, and nephew Leo Infante of Greeley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gloria in 2001, and Arthur in 2018.

A public memorial is planned for Saturday, July 19th at 10:00 AM at the Serenity Falls Columbarium at the Fort Morgan Cemetery. The family will be having a get together with light snacks and refreshments after the services at the home of Mark Zwetzig.
