Carl Wilbur Maag 76 of Weldona, Colorado born December 2, 1946, to Carl Walter Maag and Gloria E. Miller in Greeley Colorado, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023.

Carl was first married to Sheila Stanley (Sirios) for 13 years. They had three children Michelle Miller (Pape), Wendy Blake, and Chad Maag (deceased). For the past 30 years, Barbara Stock was his life companion and wife. They lived in Weldona for 25 years. Together they had a wonderful life and marriage making many memories traveling across the world, spending time with their extended families, and enjoying time together. Carl was known as an accomplished engineer working for many prominent corporations throughout his career. He was also a gifted musician able to play any instrument. He especially loved playing his guitar and singing country music to his family and friends. He also had many interesting hobbies restoring cars, becoming a master gardener, and both deep and fresh water fishing.

Carl is survived by his wife Barbara and her son Chris (Jane) Stock and their children Lucas (Anastasia) Stock, Julianna (Logan) Edington, Jessica, and Emily; his daughter Michelle (Jay Pape) their children Jordan (Jesse) Paterson, Jacob (Marie) Pape, and Lucas (Jessica) Pape and 7 great grandchildren; Wendy (Rocky) Blake and their children Lane (Rebecca) Blake, Amanda (Ryan) Thomas, and Rocky Junior (Dezamae) Blake and 6 great grandchildren; Chad's children Dustin (Sara) Maag and Alyssa Maag (Cody) and 2 great grandchildren. He has one surviving sibling Ernest (Sandra) Maag of Windsor Colorado.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Adella Holbeck, his sister Teressa Bender, and his son Chad Maag. Carl will forever remember as the smartest man ever. He is sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Carl on June 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Long Meadow Game Resort & Event Center near Wiggins Colorado. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association
